fforest macchiato

As a collaborator of mine has been blogging nice places for tea I thought I would put in a word for coffee. Last Saturday I visited fforest outdoor, in Aberteifi/Cardigan, not to buy clothing for vigourous wet outdoor adventures but to have a cup of coffee. What a delight: a place that has macchiato (cortado) on the menu so that I don't have to ask for an expresso with touch of milk. And very very good flapjacks. Comfortable and interesting decor...and reindeer hides......

how old are you?

do you remember this stamp? I do, even though I was not yet 4, powerful memories, back to a time before full use of language, and I was smaller, so stamp seemed bigger, tactile memory: the golden embossed queens head on the blue. Sad happy nostalgic wistful tearful deep midwinter....christmas.
